Yael is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing for over 20 years. She holds an MA degree in Clinical Psychology and is a certified advanced clinician in Imago Relationship Therapy. Yael is a seasoned Workshop Presenter for the Getting The Love You Want Workshop.
Yael guides couples through a special way of talking, listening and feeling heard. By using the Imago extensive toolbox, she helps couples go through painful ruptures in their connection and reconnect, and/or grow their relationships to the relationship of their dreams. With her guidance, the two partners experience a shift in their dynamics that can be felt as fast as the first session, when each of the partners experiences their partner's presence, experiences being heard, understood, and seen by their partner, like never before. When both experience that from their partner, the road for solving conflicts gets to be much smoother, with mutual empathy, respect and acceptance.
Yael is also trained by Dr. Joshua Coleman in working with parents of adult children who are dealing with estrangement or experience parental alienation. In her own work with them, she incorporates Imago core tools that allow adult children and their parents to dialogue in a way like they have never experienced before.
Yael sees couples and parents of adult children for sessions that last an hour and a half and does longer intensive sessions when asked.
Yael works both in English and Hebrew.
